A bit of a rebel at heart I have never been one to shy away from a challenge. I have always sought adventure and never really adhered to the status quo. At thirteen years old my life took a new direction when my siblings and I were sent to boarding school after my Dad was seconded to Brazil. Travelling to visit my parents in the holidays was a learning experience like no other.
It ignited in me the desire to immerse myself in new cultures, seek out new experiences and meet new people. This set in motion a deep curiosity about the world around me, a constant thirst for knowledge and an unquenching desire to keep my pool of knowledge topped up.
In my early 20s I embarked upon a 6-month trip around South America, including a visit to an Indian tribe in a remote part of the Amazon jungle.
After this voyage, I put my degree in French and Art to use and I settled in Paris where I worked for a series of PR agencies in the fields of tourism, food and art. Whilst in Paris I also developed a passion for sourcing one-off, preloved treasures whilst trawling the Parisian flea markets.
Returning to the UK to raise my family, my life came crumbling down after the death of my beloved brother, followed by a shock diagnosis of highly aggressive breast cancer in 2006.
This sent me on a long quest of self-healing and self-inquiry. Hiding behind masks, people-pleasing and perfectionism were just some of the coping mechanisms disguising deeper wounds that desperately needed my attention.
Recovering has not been an easy ride but along the way, I have discovered that it is essential we do the healing in order to reveal our true identity, our authentic selves and the treasure buried deep within our souls.
This healing journey has led me to my purpose today - to help other women reconnect to their authentic selves, to release what is holding them back and rekindle the spark of joy in their hearts.
In order to stay passionate and alive we need to constantly re-evaluate our lives, continue to grow and reinvent ourselves. Often life events, illness, buried trauma and core beliefs that no longer serve us can keep us stuck, playing small and preventing us from reaching our full potential.
I believe we can never be truly free if we are unable to fully express our true ourselves and our deepest desires.

Seven years ago, when I felt trapped in a life based on other people’s expectations, I attempted to write a letter to myself from my future self. This was an incredibly difficult task because at that moment I couldn’t “see” what my future held and yet, by tuning into a deeper wisdom, by listening to the whispers of my soul, I was able to “write” it. The truth and wisdom of this letter are manifesting in my life today.
What if I told you that when you were anxious and scared, terrified and alone, not knowing whether you would live or die, that you were being supported all along by the universe and God’s omnipotent grace and love?
What if I told you that all those tears you shed, every salty drop was just your soul beseeching you to express your true self?
What if I told you that it is okay not to “fit in”, not to “follow the herd” and that by doing so you would grow beyond your limiting beliefs to soar to unimaginable heights?
What if I told you that you didn’t have to control everything, that everything does not have to be ‘perfect’ and that by embracing life with all its chaos, mess and imperfections would bring you true freedom?
What if I told you that there was absolutely nothing to fear, that fear was just an illusion, a trick of the mind to keep you playing small?
What if I told you that you don’t have to go it alone, that it is okay to speak your truth and to be vulnerable?
What if I told you that there was an abundance of help out there if only you were willing to ask?
What if I told you that when you felt like giving up, when you felt lost in a terrifying wilderness of despair, that it would be during those very times that you would dig so deep you would eventually find yourself?
What if I told you that if you could just stop worrying, slow down and listen to that still, small voice deep inside, that you would realise that you have all the answers and that in fact you alone are the key to your happiness?
What if I told you that your cheeky, curious, rebellious nature would serve you well when focused on the truth of who you really are?
What if I told you that life was a miraculous adventure waiting to unfurl and that it was just begging you to come out and play?
What if I told you that you were destined for great things, that you have a special message to gift to the world, that only you can deliver in your unique, quirky and creative way?
What if I told you that all the choices you will make, all those highs and lows, all the dramas, adventures and “wrong turns” would lead you home to you?
What if I told you that once you stopped unconsciously reacting to the world and started to consciously create, that life would reveal its purpose to you?
What if I could whisper in your ear and tell you this:
You are a truly beautiful, loving, courageous joyful queen of life consciously manifesting the greatest ideal of yourself. You are gracefully reclaiming what has always been rightfully yours...your divinely feminine destiny.
What then...? Kate x
